We are seeking a dynamic and visionary PRESIDENT/CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER (COO) with extensive large retail experience to lead our organization toward operational excellence and strategic growth.
This executive role demands a passionate leader capable of steering complex business operations, driving innovative initiatives, and fostering a high-performance culture. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in managing large-scale retail organizations, executing operational improvements, and delivering sustainable profit growth.
As a key member of the executive team, you will shape the company’s future, oversee critical business functions, and ensure alignment with our strategic objectives.
Duties
- Lead the development and execution of strategic plans to achieve organizational goals, emphasizing operational excellence and market expansion.
- Oversee all aspects of business operations, including supply chain management, store performance, customer experience, and vendor relationships.
- Drive operational excellence initiatives by implementing process improvements, change management strategies, and operational analysis to optimize efficiency.
- Manage large-scale organizational change management projects to adapt to evolving market conditions and technological advancements.
- Develop and oversee the executive-level budget management process, including forecasting, profit and loss analysis, and financial management experience to ensure fiscal responsibility.
- Lead business development management efforts by identifying new growth opportunities and expanding existing markets through innovative strategies.
- Foster a culture of leadership by supervising senior leadership teams, promoting collaboration, and ensuring effective verbal communication with executives across departments.
- Utilize data-driven decision-making tools to inform strategic management decisions that enhance overall business performance.
- Oversee project management initiatives aimed at process improvement, operational analysis, and large-scale organizational change.
- Ensure compliance with operational policies while maintaining high standards of customer service and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Proven experience as President or COO within large retail organizations with a strong track record of success in operational management.
- Extensive knowledge of business operations, strategic planning, and business development management in a retail environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in operational excellence initiatives, process improvement, change management, and project management.
- Strong financial management experience including budgeting, forecasting, profit and loss analysis, and operational analysis.
- Exceptional leadership skills with experience managing executive-level teams and supervising senior leadership personnel.
- Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to executives and stakeholders at all levels.
- Data-driven decision-making capabilities combined with strategic management acumen to guide organizational growth.
- Ability to manage large-scale organizational change initiatives while maintaining focus on operational efficiency.
- Management experience in implementing operational strategies that drive revenue growth and improve profit margins.
