Job Summary:
The ideal CDL Driver will be responsible for transporting materials such as soil, gravel, stone, and debris to and from job sites using company dump trucks. You will hold a valid Class A or B CDL, have experience with construction or landscaping materials, and operate vehicles in a safe and efficient manner. Daily duties include pre- and post-trip inspections, maintaining accurate delivery logs, and working closely with site crews to ensure timely and accurate material placement. A strong work ethic, punctuality, and adherence to safety regulations are essential.
Supervisor Responsibilities:

Safe Operation of dump truck
- Operate the dump truck in a safe and responsible manner, including loading, transporting, and unloading materials
- Adhere to all DOT safety regulations
Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Conduct thorough inspections of the vehicle before each shift to ensure mechanical safety and compliance with DOT regulations.

- Report issues found in inspections to Fleet Manager for prompt resolution
Load and Unload Material
- Coordinate with loaders and site crews to ensure accurate and safe loading and dumping of materials in designated areas
- Avoid spillage and damage to project sites
- Ensure loads do not exceed the maximum allowable weight per DOT regulations
Maintain accurate logs and records
- Complete daily inspection reports in compliance with company and federal requirements.
- Complete necessary driving logs
- Complete material delivery records and communicate delivery records to project managers
Communicate and coordinate with site crews
- Communicate with scheduler for route planning
- Coordinate loading and unloading with Project Manager / Crew Lead for each project
- Coordinate loading sites based on location of project sites
Required Skills and Abilities:
- CDL License required

Education and Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in transporting materials
- 1+ year of experience in operating a dump truck
Physical Requirements:
- Walking, lifting, and outdoor exposure on job sites for content creation
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds
- Able to focus for long periods of time while driving
