Why Occupational Therapists Choose Ervin Physical Therapy
Provide Truly Individualized Pelvic Health Care
Every pelvic health patient presents differently.
You will work with patients one-on-one during 40-minute appointments, giving you the time to listen carefully, complete thoughtful evaluations, educate your patients, and build treatment plans around their symptoms, goals, lifestyle, and daily activities.
You will not be expected to rush through visits, treat multiple patients at once, or sacrifice quality for volume.
Help Patients Navigate Life-Changing Challenges
Pelvic floor dysfunction can affect nearly every part of a person’s life.
Through occupational therapy, you will help patients improve their ability to participate in the activities, relationships, routines, and roles that matter most to them.
Your work may support patients experiencing:
- Urinary urgency, frequency, or incontinence
- Bowel dysfunction or constipation
- Pelvic or abdominal pain
- Pain with sexual activity
- Pregnancy and postpartum recovery
- Pelvic organ prolapse
- Core weakness and pressure-management challenges
- Difficulty returning to exercise or daily activity
- Pelvic health concerns affecting confidence and quality of life
This is highly meaningful clinical work where progress can restore not only function, but also independence, confidence, and trust in the body.
Join an Established Pelvic Health Program
You will not be expected to build this role without support.
Ervin Physical Therapy already provides pelvic floor therapy within the Morganfield community and understands the privacy, trust, sensitivity, and clinical expertise required to serve this patient population effectively.
You will have access to mentorship, team collaboration, support staff, and continued clinical development as you grow within the role.
Practice With Clinical Autonomy and Team Support
Ervin Physical Therapy is a locally owned practice where clinicians are trusted to think critically, communicate openly, and make decisions based on what will best support the patient.
You will have the autonomy to build individualized plans of care while still having a collaborative team available when you need another perspective, added support, or clinical guidance.
Your expertise will be respected, and your ideas will have a direct impact on the continued development of the pelvic health program.
Grow Into Greater Responsibility
This position offers more than a caseload.
As the program grows, you may have opportunities to contribute to:
- Pelvic health program development
- Patient and community education
- Referral partner relationships
- Clinical training
- Mentorship and team development
- Supervision of future clinicians or team members
- Leadership within the practice
We want this role to become a meaningful next step in your clinical, professional, and leadership development.
Protect Your Life Outside the Clinic
This is a full-time, Monday through Friday position with a typical schedule of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
There are no on-call expectations, and flexible scheduling may be available to help you build a structure that supports both excellent patient care and a sustainable personal life.
