Duties
- Safely operate shuttle trucks and other commercial vehicles, including those with manual transmissions, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and tractor-trailers.
- Load and unload freight efficiently while adhering to safety protocols and weight limits.
- Manage route driving schedules to ensure punctual pickups and deliveries across designated locations.
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections before and after shifts to identify maintenance needs or safety issues.
- Maintain accurate logs of mileage, fuel consumption, delivery times, and route details.
- Follow all traffic laws and company policies to ensure safe transportation practices at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members to coordinate schedules and address any operational concerns promptly.
Skills
- Proven experience in truck driving or delivery driver roles with a focus on route management.
- Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles and various truck types such as refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, or roll-off trucks.
- Ability to load & unload freight safely using appropriate equipment like forklifts when necessary.
- Strong knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety standards.
- Excellent navigation skills with the ability to plan efficient routes for timely deliveries.
- Physical stamina for long hours of driving and handling freight loading tasks.

Pay: $19.50 - $22.50 per hour
