Food Service Manager
Lacon RehabNursing is seeking a full-time Food Service Manager to lead our dietary department and oversee daily kitchen operations in our skilled nursing facility.
This hands-on leadership role is responsible for supervising dietary staff, maintaining food quality and safety standards, coordinating meal service, and helping ensure an excellent dining experience for our residents.
Responsibilities:
Oversee daily food service and kitchen operations
Supervise, train, and support dietary staff
Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and regulatory requirements
Monitor food quality, inventory, and supplies
Assist with menu implementation and meal service coordination
Maintain department records and documentation
Promote a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Qualifications:
Previous food service, dietary, restaurant, hospitality, healthcare, or kitchen management experience preferred
Strong leadership and organizational skills
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and team-building skills
