Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an MRI Technologist
- Current ARRT (MR) certification required
- Valid Florida state license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a high-volume setting
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality MRI scans according to physician orders, following safety protocols and best practices
- Screen patients for suitability and safety before imaging procedures
- Accurately position patients and calibrate equipment for optimal imaging
- Effectively communicate with patients to ensure comfort and understanding during exams
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional care
- Maintain accurate records of procedures and patient information in the electronic medical record system
- Uphold a high standard of infection control and workplace safety throughout all tasks
