American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an LTAC position requiring 2+ years of strong LTAC skills including trach, vent, and drip management.

Work in the LTAC (Long-Term Acute Care) unit of a hospital environment
-
Night shift schedule: 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
-
Patient ratios of 1:5-6 typical for LTAC setting
-
Every other weekend (EOW) rotation required
-
Floating in rotation with staff based on clinical experience and unit policies

Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travel candidates
-
Active RN license (Missouri or Compact) currently in hand

Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

Minimum 2 years of current, strong LTAC experience required

Required skills: tracheostomy care, ventilator management, and drip titration

Provide direct patient care in a Long-Term Acute Care setting managing complex, medically fragile patients

Weekend and holiday coverage expected in rotation with staff

Floating conducted in accordance with facility policy and Joint Commission standards, including appropriate orientation to new units

Requests for time off must be approved prior to assignment start and are preferably avoided during the initial weeks of the assignment
