The Landing at Dallas City is seeking a dependable and motivated Cook to join our weekend kitchen team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys early shifts, a fast-paced kitchen, and being part of a friendly, local establishment.
Pay:
$20–$28 per hour (including tips)
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Work efficiently during busy hours
- Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff
Qualifications:
- Previous cooking or kitchen experience preferred (willing to train the right candidate)
- Ability to work early morning weekend shifts
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
