Job Summary
Operating, monitoring, and maintaining packaging machinery to ensure efficient production of paper converting. Maintaining accurate finished goods inventory, counts per shift. Able to work a rotating schedule and works well in a fast-paced environment in a team setting.
Duties
- Operate packaging machines efficiently, ensuring proper setup, calibration, and operation throughout production shifts
- Monitor equipment performance, identify issues promptly, and troubleshoot mechanical or operational problems using hand tools and basic machine diagnostics
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machinery to maintain optimal functionality and comply with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and safety standards
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance, verifying packaging accuracy, labeling, and integrity before release
- Document production data accurately, including machine settings, downtime incidents, and quality checks
Experience
- Prior experience operating packaging machines in a manufacturing
- Knowledge of industrial equipment troubleshooting and mechanical systems is highly desirable
- Basic math skills for measuring, counting, and recording production data accurately
- Experience working with hand tools, machining processes, or industrial equipment troubleshooting
Pay: $23.00 - $29.00 per hour
