RESIDENTIAL CONSTRUCTION LABORER
NJL Custom Homes is seeking dependable, hardworking construction laborers to assist at multiple residential job sites throughout the St. Louis area. Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available.
Construction or handyman experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to work with individuals who are reliable, follow directions and are eager to learn. This position reports directly to the project supervisor.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Clean and prepare residential job sites
- Load, unload and move construction materials
- Assist skilled trades and project supervisors as needed
- Follow instructions and complete assigned daily tasks
- Help keep job sites clean, safe and organized
- Perform general construction and handyman-related tasks
- Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Adapt to changing job-site needs and schedules
QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid driver’s license required
- Reliable transportation to multiple job sites required
- Construction or handyman experience preferred
- Dependable, responsible and accountable
- Willingness to learn and work as part of a team
- Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks efficiently
- Ability to stand, walk, bend and squat for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects
- Flexibility as project schedules and needs change

- Pay: Starting at $18.00 per hour
