About the Role
We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Neurologist to join a nationally recognized academic medical center in the Bronx, NY.
This position offers a dual clinical and academic role with a faculty appointment at the Assistant or Associate Professor level (commensurate with experience). You will work within a multidisciplinary team at one of only ten New York State-designated Centers of Excellence for Alzheimer’s Disease.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and manage patients with cognitive disorders, including:
- Alzheimer’s Disease (AD)
- Vascular Dementia
- Fronto-Temporal Dementia (FTD)
- Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows
- Optional clinical research opportunities (research is not required)
Qualifications & Requirements
- Certification: Board Certified (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) in Neurology
- Clinical Interests: Interest in Cognitive Neurology and Dementia preferred; both general neurologists and subspecialists (fellowship-trained) are welcome
- Experience Level: Senior-level candidate preferred; mentorship is available for early-career neurologists
- Work Authorization: Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident (No visa sponsorship available)
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $220,000 – $260,000 per year + additional productivity incentives
