Quality Inspector (Sheet Metal / Machined Parts)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Type: Temp-to-Perm
Pay: $22.00 – $28.00/hour (based on experience)
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to ensure products meet customer specifications, drawings, and visual standards. This role requires strong analytical skills, precision, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
Interpret customer drawings and specifications
Perform visual and dimensional inspections on sheet metal and machined parts
Assess and manage RMAs, including disposition and work order creation
Document non-conforming materials in the DMR system
Maintain RMA and inspection records
Support resolution of manufacturing quality issues
Contribute to quality reporting for business reviews
Use SolidWorks to support internal teams
Participate in corrective and preventive action processes
Qualifications:
5+ years of inspection experience (sheet metal and/or machined parts)
Strong print reading skills (high-level required)
Advanced knowledge of GD&T
Proficient with inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges)
Solid Excel skills
Strong communication and organizational abilities
