American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 2+ years of experience for a day shift travel assignment at a Level II Trauma Center and teaching hospital in Washington state.

Short-term acute care hospital setting with 629 staffed beds, designated as a Level II Trauma and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center

Teaching hospital environment

Responsibilities span floor care, ER, code response, and rapid response

Patient ratios depend on patient acuity

Day shift: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
-
Every other weekend required
-
Block scheduling required
-
Floating between units and all facilities within the state is required — refusal to float may result in assignment termination

Epic EMR experience required
-
No on-call required
-
No parking fee
-
Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required

Active Washington state RRT license required at time of consideration — license required if applicable

Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience

Epic EMR experience required

BLS certification required

Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting

SSN and DOB required for consideration

First-time travelers will be considered for this position

Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility

Scrub color: any color permitted for RRT staff

Minimal RTO is strongly preferred; requests should be identified prior to or at the time of submission, as post-offer RTO requests may be denied
