Are you an outgoing leader with strong networking skills and a passion for building something from the ground up?
TourneyBall is looking for a Regional Manager to lead the growth of TourneyBall throughout the Minneapolis area.
This isn't a typical job. It's an opportunity to build a market by combining sales, marketing, community outreach, and event management into one rewarding role.
Duties
- Grow the TourneyBall brand throughout Minneapolis.
- Build partnerships with parks, breweries, restaurants, schools, wedding venues, apartment communities, corporations, and community organizations.
- Promote tournaments through Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other social media platforms. A strong social media following is a major plus.
- Sell TourneyBall as entertainment for corporate events, private parties, weddings, fundraisers, festivals, and other community events.
- Recruit players and fill tournaments.
- Hire, train, and schedule Event Hosts.
- Oversee tournament operations and ensure every event delivers an outstanding player experience.
Requirements
- A natural leader who enjoys meeting people and building relationships.
- Confident making sales calls and developing business partnerships.
- Experienced with Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and community marketing.
- Organized, dependable, and self-motivated.
- Entrepreneurial, outgoing, and excited to build TourneyBall throughout Minneapolis.
Compensation
This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity. As the Regional Manager, you'll receive 50% of the remaining event revenue after standard operating expenses.
Example – Sold-Out Event (48 Players × $20 Entry Fee)
Gross Revenue: $960
- -$192 (20%) – Player prize pool
- -$86 (9%) – Operating expense fee covering website, taxes, payment processing, equipment maintenance, game boards, and other business expenses.
- -$10 (1%) – Insurance and permit reserve.
- -$80 – Event Host (4 hours @ $20/hour).
