Title: AV Installation Technician Level 2
Reports to: Director of Integration
Coordinates with: Integration and Project Management
Job Type: Integration and Project Management
Purpose and Scope: The AV Installation Technician is responsible for setting up, installing, operating, testing, and troubleshooting audio and video equipment and systems.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Set up and install equipment such as microphones, sound speakers, video screens, projectors, video monitors, recording equipment, connecting wires and cables for a variety of corporate and residential markets

Install infrastructure cabling for data, phone and AV according to designated layout

Test audio video and sound systems according to designated layout

Program control systems

Diagnose and correct media system problems

Coordinate audio feeds with television images

Identify equipment requiring repairs as needed

Identify alternative solutions to onsite installation issues.

Compile technical documents such as Serial Numbers and Warranties

Train End Users on AV equipment

Review Punch Lists with Project Manager prior to departure to Job site and again before leaving Job site.

Provide Job specific feedback to Project Manager

Complete Project Documentation as provided by Project Manager

Pick up shipments of product/equipment as needed per Job

Train Level 1 Technicians on building and installing equipment

Ability to be the point person on a Job Site and assign duties to other Technicians as needed

Load and unload work vehicles with product for the project

Perform duties on location as assigned

Company paid travel required (including weekends)
Education & Skills:
- High School Diploma

Valid Drivers License
-
Advanced knowledge of AV industry
