The Project Manager oversees the design, development, and deployment processes for new programs, promotions, brand initiatives, and product and service rollouts, which will require participation and alignment across different departments as well as outside vendors. Supports Project Sponsors to ensure timely and effective project execution within the identified scope, timeline, and budget.
Essential Functions
- Works with Project Sponsor and project team to define project scope, objectives, timeline, and deliverables
- Schedules, organizes, and facilitates project planning sessions, tracking progress against the project plan and timeline
- Acts as a liaison between stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress, ensuring clear communication of expectations, deliverables, and project status
- Reports project progress to Project Sponsor, Program Director, and Director of National Operations and identifies risk that could impact project success, adjusting project plans as necessary
- Collects and compiles content for program/promotion rollouts as well as tracks content revisions
- Conducts post-mortems on projects to identify best practices and areas for improvement
- Assists in overall planning and process improvement
Education, Experience, and Skills Required
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in project coordination or management in a business environment
- College degree preferred
- Ability to manage time effectively, handle multiple projects concurrently, and respond to rapidly changing priorities
- Proficiency and familiarity with computers and software programs, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and others used in project management
- Must have strong organizational and follow-through skills
- Ability to think critically, logically, and creatively when needed
- Assertive and able to push a project to a successful conclusion with the ability to hold people accountable
- Ability to work under tight timelines
- Ability to document and report job progress clearly, both in writing and verbally
- Excellent reasoning and negotiating skills
- Must be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills
- Must be a self-managed person who can work on a variety of projects with a diverse team with minimal direction or oversight
- Ability to work in an entrepreneurial environment
- This is a hybrid position with three (3) required in-office days, based on business needs
