Job Overview:
We are looking for a charismatic and motivated Jewelry Sales Representative to join our team! In this role, you will assist customers in selecting fine jewelry, provide product knowledge, and help maintain the store’s presentation. Some prior experience in the jewelry industry is preferred, but we welcome applicants with strong customer service backgrounds and a willingness to learn.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers with jewelry selection, answering questions about materials, designs, and pricing.
- Provide exceptional customer service with an engaging, friendly, and enthusiastic attitude.
- Learn about diamonds, gemstones, and metals to educate customers effectively.
- Process sales transactions, handle payments, and manage receipts.
- Maintain the store’s appearance by organizing displays and keeping the sales floor clean.
- Assist with inventory management, including restocking and checking in new arrivals.
- Follow company policies and security procedures to ensure product safety.
Qualifications:
- Some prior experience in the jewelry industry is preferred (retail sales,repairs, appraisals, or related fields).
- A charismatic personality with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to connect with customers, build relationships, and create a positive shopping experience.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with basic math skills for handling transactions.
- Interest in jewelry and a willingness to expand product knowledge.
- Availability to work weekends, holidays, and peak shopping hours as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
