Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Mill Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating CNC milling machines, interpreting technical drawings, and ensuring precision in machining processes. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment, utilizing advanced equipment and technology to produce high-quality components. Candidates should possess strong mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, and familiarity with various manufacturing tools and measurement instruments. Prior factory or warehouse experience is preferred, along with a solid understanding of safety protocols and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate CNC milling machines and related equipment such as CNC lathes, machines,
- Program and set up CNC machines using CAM programming and CAD software
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, GD&T specifications, and material specifications to ensure accurate production
- Utilize precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, and other quality control tools to verify dimensions and tolerances
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery and troubleshoot issues related to CNC programming or mechanical operations
- Handle materials safely within the manufacturing facility, including materials handling and tooling management
- Assist in assembly line tasks or fabrication processes as needed
- Follow safety procedures diligently, including proper use of hand tools and operation of forklifts when necessary
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
Skills
- Proficiency with CNC programming, CAM programming, , and CAD software such as AutoCAD and Fusion 360
- Experience operating CNC milling machines, CNC lathe machine
- Familiarity with tooling setup, materials handling equipment like forklifts, and packaging processes
- Knowledge of quality control procedures using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with attention to detail for maintaining high standards of quality in production processes
