Eddie’s Tavern is hiring a dependable, experienced Manager/Bartender who can confidently step into either role depending on the needs of the shift. This position includes dedicated management shifts as well as scheduled bartending shifts. This role combines leadership responsibilities with exceptional bartending skills in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily bar operations, ensuring smooth service during shifts
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and professionalism Manage POS transactions using rPower
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing guest needs promptly and courteously Maintain compliance with all food safety and alcohol regulations
- Minimum 1 years of bartending experience in a fast-paced, high-volume setting Leadership or shift lead experience strongly preferred
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and manage time effectively Positive attitude, strong communication, and a team-first mindset
- Reliable and trustworthy, comfortable handling cash, deposits, and sensitive tasks TABC and Food Handler certified, and able to work weekends and peak shifts
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of POS systems
- Demonstrated sales ability with a focus on upselling beverages and enhancing guest experience Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Experience in serving alcohol responsibly in compliance with legal regulations
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and accurate billing Exceptional customer service skills with a professional demeanor
- Ability to work flexible hours, work weekend and weekday nights Strong leadership qualities with the ability to manage staff efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete and enter invoices accurately
- Perform safe counts, bank deposits, and cash handling procedures
- Assist with staffing needs, and shift coverage
- Maintain shift control, coach staff, and uphold Fast Eddie's standards
- Communicate with FOH/BOH to ensure smooth operation
