$.50 per hour increase after 6 months

30 HPW (hour per week) or greater positions offer vision insurance at no cost

DSP Requirements:
-
Have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
-
Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.

Be 18 years of age or older.
-
Obtain all clearances as required to meet regulatory compliance.
A typical day could include activities like these:
-
Feed, bathe, dress, and provide all personal care for individuals.
-
Record all necessary information, observations, and daily progress notes.
-
Accompany and transport individuals for social, work, shopping, meal, and medical appointments.

Be a positive role model to individuals, neighbors, and the community regarding behavior, dress, and respect for others. Provide support and help individuals manage day-to-day activities.

Transport the consumers in Agency and personal vehicles when needed.

Responsible for implementing emergency treatment and life-saving techniques to the extent that training and Agency protocol allow.

Responsible for the care and upkeep of facilities.

Required to administer medications to residents following completion of the Agency’s Medication Administration Training Program.
DSP DOES NOT HAVE SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES.
