Responsibilities
Every day is different. You'll assist with a variety of residential construction projects, including:
- Wood framing
- Finish carpentry
- Painting and staining
- Deck construction
- Landscaping and outdoor improvements
- Demolition
- Site preparation and cleanup
- Material handling
- Operating hand and power tools
- Loading and unloading materials
- Assisting lead carpenters and supervisors
- Following job site safety procedures
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
Responsibilities are consistent with the company's general labor position, including assisting supervisors, working with other contractors, and traveling to job sites as needed.
Qualifications
We're looking for someone who:
- Has 3+ years of residential construction experience
- Has experience with framing, carpentry, painting, landscaping, or general construction
- Can safely use common construction tools and equipment
- Has reliable transportation
- Possesses a valid California driver's license with a clean driving record
- Can lift 75+ pounds
- Is dependable and shows up on time
- Works well independently and as part of a team
- Has strong attention to detail
- Takes pride in quality workmanship
The existing job description also requires construction trade experience, physical stamina, communication skills, safe work practices, and legal authorization to work in the U.S.
Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
