Responsibilities:
- Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address individual client needs
- Conduct patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans based on physiology knowledge, anatomy, and medical history
- Educate clients on self-care practices and occupational health strategies to support ongoing wellness
- Maintain detailed records of treatments, patient responses, and progress notes in accordance with medical terminology standards
- Ensure a safe, comfortable environment by adhering to hygiene protocols and safety guidelines at all times
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize pain management strategies and overall patient care
- Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and certifications related to med spa services and therapeutic massage
Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Massage Therapist with demonstrated proficiency in patient service and assessment skills
- Experience in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other advanced massage techniques preferred
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to accurately assess patient needs and tailor treatments accordingly
- Prior experience working in a med spa or occupational health setting is highly desirable
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build trusting client relationships
- Ability to work professionally within healthcare environments while maintaining attention to detail and safety standards
