Marshall Music is looking for Instrument Rental Fulfillment Clerks with a passion for music and music education to help with our busy fall season. You will play a key role in assisting young musicians as they begin their musical journey.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Identify and collect instruments and their accessories to satisfy customer orders placed online
- Once an instrument is selected to fulfill an online order, record that instrument's details and serial number on the rental contract
- Build, pack, and seal boxes to be shipped
- Input customer information, order details, and package specifications into shipping software to create shipping labels
- Tag boxes and bags with pre-printed customer order labels
- Assess inventory and supplies and confer with Online Fulfillment Administrator to rectify problems such as shortages or nonconformance to specifications
- Examine and inspect ready shipments to ensure that products were properly packed and the order was correctly filled
- Handle and assist in cleaning and polishing musical instruments to a high standard
- Respond to customer phone inquiries regarding our instrument rental program, school services, and their order status
- Other duties as assigned
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Must be able to lift 30 lbs.
- Familiarity with a variety of band or orchestra instruments preferred
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
Pay: $14.00 per hour
