American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery night shift position requiring at least 1 year of L&D experience and an active SC or compact RN license.

Hospital-based Labor & Delivery unit

Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30
-
Scheduled for three 12-hour shifts per week

No call requirements
-
Floating to similar units required as needed

13-week assignment

Active RN license (SC or Compact) currently in hand

BLS certification (AHA only)

NRP certification (AHA only)

Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery nursing experience required

Assess patient needs based on history, observation, physical examination, and diagnostic data analysis

Provide age-specific nursing interventions consistent with plan of care and standards of practice

Foster a caring, compassionate, and respectful environment for patients, families, and visitors

Utilize appropriate health and safety equipment to protect patients and staff

Contribute to department performance through precepting and mentoring novice employees

Participate in hospital-system initiatives and evidence-based nursing practices
