We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Visual Arts Teacher to inspire and educate students in the creative arts. Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver engaging visual arts curriculum aligned with educational standards and student needs
- Plan and execute innovative art projects that promote creativity and technical skills
- Assess student progress through assignments, projects, and examinations, providing constructive feedback
- Create a positive classroom environment that encourages artistic exploration and respect for diverse perspectives
- Incorporate various art mediums and techniques to enhance students’ learning experiences
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate arts education across different subjects
- Organize exhibitions or showcases of student work to celebrate achievements and foster community engagement
- Maintain classroom materials, supplies, and equipment in an organized and safe manner
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Education, or a related field; university experience is highly desirable
- Prior teaching experience in visual arts or related settings preferred
- Strong knowledge of art history, techniques, and contemporary practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with students of varying ages and backgrounds
- Ability to create an inclusive, supportive, and inspiring classroom atmosphere
- Commitment to fostering creativity, critical thinking, and artistic development in students
- Certification or licensure in education is preferred but not mandatory depending on institutional requirements
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $21.40 - $25.77 per hour
