Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments to determine health status and diagnose medical conditions.
- Prescribe medications and treatment regimens in accordance with state laws and collaborative practice agreements, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and DEA regulations.
- Perform procedures such as suturing, IV insertion, catheterization, spinal taps, dermal fillers, esthetic laser treatments, and tube feeding management.
- Manage acute and chronic illnesses across a variety of specialties including critical care, geriatrics, pediatrics, behavioral health, infectious disease care, and hospice & palliative medicine.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans and coordinate patient services.
- Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic, Cerner, eClinicalWorks, or Athenahealth for accurate medical documentation and medical records management.
- Participate in clinical research projects or quality improvement initiatives to advance evidence-based practices within the organization.
Skills
- Extensive experience working with diverse patient populations including children, seniors in memory or assisted living care, and individuals with disabilities or developmental disabilities.
- Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems like Epic or Cerner; familiarity with CPT coding, ICD-9/10 coding; and experience with medical imaging and laboratory processing.
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, pharmacology (including psychopharmacology), and healthcare diagnosis techniques.
- Skilled in performing diagnostic evaluations such as sonography, venipuncture, phlebotomy, sterile processing techniques, and specimen collection/processing.
- Capable of managing complex cases involving acute pain management, airway management (ventilators), dialysis procedures, spinal taps, catheter care/tube feeding management.
- Experience working in hospital medicine settings such as ICU or Level I/II trauma centers; emergency medicine; urgent care; inpatient/outpatient clinics; telehealth services; or post-acute care environments.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages through client education and health coaching while maintaining compliance with HIPAA standards.

Pay: $107,095.45 - $128,975.16 per year
