Citrus Cardiology Consultants, PLLC. is looking for a (full-time and/or Part-time) Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our outstanding staff. Position is located in The Villages, FL.
Perform nuclear cardiology imaging studies in accordance with physician orders and clinic protocols.
Administer radiopharmaceuticals and other required medications under supervision, maintaining strict adherence to radiation safety regulations.
Operate imaging equipment and ensure device calibration and image quality.
Monitor patients during imaging procedures, prioritizing safety, comfort, and clear communication.
Provide and coordinate scheduling support for patients and physicians as needed.
Document procedures, results, and patient data accurately in the EMR; prepare clear reports for physicians.
Collaborate with the care team to support efficient clinic workflow and timely patient care.
Maintain inventory and ensure proper storage of imaging supplies.
Adhere to infection control, radiation safety, and clinic policies; engage in ongoing training and professional development.
CNMT or RT(N)(ARRT); CPR and ACLS certifications.
