Full-Time Pay: $55,000–$75,000/year Part-Time Pay: $20.00–$35.00/hour Shifts: Days, evenings, overnights, weekdays, weekends, and special events Location: Assigned client sites throughout the Memphis area
Job Overview
KH Executive Security Consultants is hiring experienced, dependable, and professional Armed Security Officers to protect clients, employees, visitors, property, and operations. Duties include armed security presence, patrols, access control, camera monitoring, incident response, and reporting.
Pay is based on assigned location, schedule, experience, active license, availability, and job responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a professional, alert, armed security presence
- Conduct foot, vehicle, indoor, and outdoor patrols
- Monitor entrances, exits, cameras, and alarms
- Identify and report suspicious activity or safety hazards
- Respond to incidents and emergencies; contact supervisors, client reps, or law
- enforcement/fire/EMS as needed
- Complete daily activity and incident reports using mobile reporting apps
Requirements
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Able to obtain a TN Armed Security Guard license before starting armed assignments
- Legally eligible to possess and carry a firearm; pass firearm qualification
- Pass criminal background check and drug screening
At least one of:
- 3+ years law enforcement (current or former)
- 3+ years military police / security forces
- 5+ years corrections/detention
- 10+ years professional armed/security experience
Preferred Qualifications
Active TN Armed Security Guard license, prior lead/supervisory experience, executive protection or high-profile security background, CCTV/surveillance experience, CPR/First Aid/AED, and FAA Part 107 (for drone-related assignments).
