Machine Operator / Machine Setup Technician – 3rd Shift (Roll‑Fed)Penmac Staffing is hiring an experienced Machine Operator / Machine Setup Technician for the roll‑fed side of a manufacturing operation in the Brainerd area. This full-time position is ideal for candidates who enjoy machine setup, troubleshooting, and hands-on production work in a fast-paced environment. Pay: $20+ per hour based on experience, plus a $2.00/hour shift differential
Shift: 3rd shift-Sunday-Thursday 9:30pm-6am

Location: In personMachine Operator / Machine Setup Technician Responsibilities:
- Set up machines for production, including calibration, cleaning, and changeovers
- Control and adjust machine settings such as speed and feed rates
- Load raw materials into roll-fed, semi-automated equipment
- Inspect parts using precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers
- Perform periodic machine checks to ensure proper operation
- Troubleshoot and correct machine or process issues during the shift
- Monitor finished products to identify defects or machine-related flaws
- Record production data, including approved and defective parts
- Maintain accurate activity and production logs
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required protective equipment
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements for the Machine Operator / Setup Technician:
- Proven experience as a machine operator or machine setup technician
- Working knowledge of high-speed manufacturing equipment
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and operating manuals
- Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills
- Understanding of production processes and quality standards
- Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively
- Physical stamina for standing, lifting, and working on the production floor
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training is a plus
Schedule & Work Details:
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- 8-hour shifts
- Sunday-Thursday
- All shifts available, with current openings on 3rd shift
