Job Title: School-Based Mental Health Clinician

Licensure Preference: GA Licensed Professional (LPC, LCSW, LMFT) or Associate (LAPC, LMSW, LAMFT) or Master's Supervised Trainee accepted.
About CHANCE (Creating Hope And Needed Care for Everyone) is dedicated to providing high-quality mental health services to school-age children. In partnership with Forsyth County Schools, we implement a Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) to ensure students and families receive the behavioral health care they need to succeed academically and personally.
The Role: We are seeking a compassionate individual to serve as a School-Based Clinician. You will work directly within the school building to provide a range of mental health services, acting as a vital link in the district’s Comprehensive School Mental Health System (CSMHS). You will work closely with School Counselors (the program "gatekeepers") to support students through early identification and evidence-based intervention.
Key Responsibilities: Direct Clinical Services: Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions on-site. Crisis Intervention: Provide immediate support and evaluations for students in crisis. Consultation & Collaboration: Partner with school staff and parents to support student well-being; participate in Student Support Teams (SST), IEP, and 504 meetings as needed. MTSS Implementation: Assist in the delivery of Tier 2 (selective) and Tier 3 (intensive) interventions.
Professional Development: Facilitate staff training and participate in district-wide mental health coordinator meetings. Documentation: Maintain strict confidentiality in compliance with FERPA and HIPAA; collect data on student outcomes and program impact.
Qualifications: Licensure: Georgia professional license (LPC, LCSW, LMFT preferred; LAPC or LMSW or Master's Degreed ST considered).
Clearance: Must successfully complete the Forsyth County Schools background screening. Expertise: Strong understanding of evidence-based practices and the MTSS framework. Insurance: Ability to provide proof of professional malpractice insurance ($1M+ limits). Compensation will be determined by experience and licensure.
