In this role as an Account Manager, you will support the Account Management team by assisting with day-to-day client needs, coordinating projects, and ensuring clear communication with clients and vendors. This position provides exposure to client benefit plan design, PBM processes, and internal project management in a fast-paced environment. Strong organization, attention to detail, and collaboration skills are essential.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for day-to-day client and broker communications, ensuring timely responses and follow-through
- Build and maintain strong working relationships throughout the lifecycle of each account
- Support implementation activities, including participation in calls, plan design validation, coordination with PBMs and vendors, and program rollout support
- Coordinate with PBMs and third-party vendors to support ongoing account needs, data requests, reporting processes, and claims reviews
- Request and manage historical data, reports, and claims files, ensuring appropriate legal documentation is in place prior to release
- Ensure commission structures, data feeds, and reporting processes are properly established and maintained with PBMs
- Coordinate vendor materials and attendance for benefit fairs and open enrollment meetings
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in Salesforce and Monday.com including contacts, plan details, vendor partners, renewal timelines, RFP, impmentation and documentation
- Track and manage contracts and legal documents (NDAs, CNDAs, BAAs), ensuring proper execution and filing
- Maintain client action logs, meeting notes, and follow-up on deliverables
- Submit and coordinate resolution of member and claims issues with vendors and internal teams
- Support escalated client issues in partnership with internal stakeholders
- Execute RFP and renewal processes, including data gathering, timeline coordination, documentation management, pricing analysis support, and final agreement tracking
Required:

3+ years of experience in account management, benefit plan design, healthcare consulting, or a related support role

High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred

Strong organizational and project management skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Employer group pharmacy benefit experience.
