About Us:
Steeler, Inc. is a manufacturer of steel framing and a distributor of drywall and construction supplies. We are currently seeking an energetic, hard-working Yard Stocker to facilitate organization of materials, stocking of jobs and to support our Sacramento branch.
What You'll Do:
The successful candidate will be prompt and detail oriented. We are looking for a dependable person who can get the job done, delivering materials and stocking jobs. and will assist pulling will call orders for customers and staging for deliveries while keeping the yard and warehouse clean.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Load and unload trucks
- Pull orders and stage for delivery
- Verify every load
- Keep delivery and will-call’s organized
- Ensure vehicles are locked and inside the yard at the end of every day
- Keep yard and warehouse clean and organized
- Stock drywall and maintain inventory levels
- Forklift certified or willing to be certified
- Represent Steeler with a high level of customer service upon arrival at jobsite
Job Qualifications
- High school Diploma or equivalent
- Customer service experience
- Basic math skills
- Able to lift up to 75 pounds all day
- Demonstrated time management and planning
- Ability to show up on time
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to troubleshoot
- MUST be able to pass a drug test and background check
MUST be able to pass a drug test and background check. Our industry is "safety sensitive" and we do require a negative cannabis drug screen.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
