Job Title: Automotive Technician - San Jose

Salary: Base hourly from $28-40, plus flat rate bonus of $10-20
Job Type: Full-Time 4x10 Schedule - Non-Exempt, hourly position with eligibility for overtime. Mon-Thurs 7am to 5:30pm schedule, with extra hours potentially required to fulfill all responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
Our technicians have the following set of responsibilities:
- Achieve a minimum of 8 billed hours per 10-hour day, provided the workload is available.
- Have lower than a 1% warranty/comeback rate.
- Complete comprehensive digital vehicle inspections in under 45 minutes that result in your advisor/manager selling 3.0-3.5 billed hours per car.
Your Qualifications:
- Passionate about delivering the best car ownership experience possible
- Obsessed with numbers and scoreboards
- Capable of using testing equipment to efficiently diagnose the majority of automotive issues
- Owns a tool set that can fix most cars - we provide specialty tools and a monthly tool allowance
- Creativity to solve the large variety of problems we come across in automotive repair
- A driver's license with an insurable driving record
- Capable multi-tasker who makes efficient use of time
- Positive outlook on people - customers and employees
