Job Summary
The Marketing Representative is responsible for generating new business and maintaining relationships with residential, commercial, insurance, and community partners. This role promotes the company's restoration and cleaning services through business development, networking, marketing initiatives, and the Emergency Ready Program (ERP) while representing the company in a professional manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Business Development
Develop and maintain relationships with referral sources, insurance professionals, property managers, contractors, and commercial clients.
Execute daily marketing routes, prospecting, and follow-up activities.
Meet established sales and marketing goals while documenting all customer interactions in the CRM.
Conduct regular client visits and referral appreciation activities.
Commercial & ERP Development
Present and promote the Emergency Ready Program (ERP).
Collect facility information and develop ERP plans for commercial clients.
Maintain ERP databases and assist with documentation.
Strengthen commercial relationships through ongoing account management.
Marketing & Brand Support
Coordinate advertising, marketing materials, newsletters, e-blasts, and public relations efforts.
Maintain website and social media content.
Support franchise branding and community outreach initiatives.
Monitor marketing opportunities and recommend strategies to increase brand awareness.
Marketing Administration
Maintain route and marketing databases.
Prepare marketing materials and sales packets.
Follow up with referral sources and support vendor approvals and RFPs.
Research commercial prospects, Certificates of Insurance (COIs), and key accounts.
Coordinate association memberships and maintain marketing supplies.
Monitor Priority Response opportunities and weather events.
Community Engagement
Organize Continuing Education (CE) classes, networking events, trade shows, customer appreciation events, and community activities.
Represent the company at professional organizations and industry events.
Performance Expectations
Achieve sales and marketing objectives.
Increase referral and commercial business.
Maintain accurate CRM and marketing records.
Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a professional company image.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required
Pass a background check and drug screening.
Experience in sales, marketing, or business development within a service-based industry.
Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
Strong time management and relationship-building abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM software, and social media platforms.
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Preferred
Experience in restoration, cleaning, construction, insurance, or property management.
Established relationships within the insurance or commercial business community.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required. Relevant education and work experience may be substituted.
Physical Requirements
Frequent local travel.
Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and drive for extended periods.
Lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
Operate standard office equipment and transport marketing materials as needed.
