Cannawave is looking for energetic, customer-focused Budtenders who are passionate about helping customers find the right cannabis products. Whether you're experienced in cannabis or eager to learn, we provide training to help you succeed.
Responsibilities
· Greet customers and provide a welcoming experience.
· Educate customers on cannabis products, consumption methods, and product benefits.
· Verify identification and maintain compliance with New York regulations.
· Process transactions accurately through the POS system.
· Maintain product displays and store cleanliness.
· Assist with inventory counts and restocking.
· Stay current on new products and promotions.
· Promote a positive and professional store environment.
· Support cultivation, processing, packaging, manufacturing, and inventory activities as assigned.
· Assist with product preparation, packaging, labeling, and facility projects during non-peak retail hours.
Qualifications
· Must be 21 years of age or older.
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· Retail, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred.
· Passion for customer service and cannabis education.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
· Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
· Must be willing and able to work in the dispensary, cultivation facility, processing areas, and manufacturing operations as business needs require.
· Comfortable working in both customer-facing and production environments.
