Position Summary:
We are seeking an organized and detail oriented cannabis packager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and packaging cannabis products in compliance with state regulations. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of cannabis products, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
● Accurately weigh, label, and package cannabis products. Producing a minimum of 300
units a day is expected.
● Ensure all products are packaged in compliance with company standards and regulatory
requirements.
● Perform quality checks on finished products, ensuring packaging is sealed and labeled
correctly.
● Maintain inventory control by tracking packaged products and updating records.
● Follow all health, safety, and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and safe working
environment.
● Assist with sorting and organizing cannabis products for packaging.
● Inspect finished products for defects or discrepancies, and resolve issues promptly.
● Work closely with other departments, including production and quality control, to ensure
smooth workflow and product consistency.
● Adhere to all security and compliance standards to ensure the safety and integrity of
cannabis products.
● Assist with other cultivation and post-harvest tasks as needed (e.g., defoliation, bucking,
packaging, weighing, inventory checks)
Qualifications:
● Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with precision.
● Ability to follow instructions and comply with regulatory guidelines.
● Strong communication skills and a collaborative team player.
● Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast paced environment.
● Knowledge of cannabis products and terminology is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
● Ability to sit or stand for long periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and perform physical tasks in
varying environmental conditions (humidity, temperature), which includes exposure to
loud noise, cannabis dust, and strong odors
● Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
● Comfortable working in a fast-paced, regulated, and evolving industry.
