Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Logistics Manager to lead and optimize our supply chain operations. Responsibilities
- Oversee the transportation and distribution of goods, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery
- Manage relationships with suppliers, carriers, and other logistics partners
- Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate inventory levels and optimize order fulfillment
- Analyze data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement in logistics operations
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
- Negotiate contracts with logistics service providers to secure favorable terms
- Lead and mentor the logistics team, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment
- Stay informed about industry trends and innovations to enhance logistics strategies
Requirements and Skills
- Proven experience as a Logistics Manager or in a similar role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities
- Knowledge of logistics and supply chain management principles
- Familiarity with relevant software and technologies for logistics optimization
- Effective communication and negotiation skills
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in logistics operations
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred)
