Join Our Summer Camp Team!
True Black Belt Academy is looking for a reliable, energetic, and responsible Summer Camp Assistant to help create a fun, safe, and positive environment for children throughout our summer camp.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with kids, staying active, and being part of a supportive team. No martial arts experience is required—we provide all necessary training.
Responsibilities include:
- Supervise and engage children during daily camp activities.
- Assist with games, crafts, sports, and field trips.
- Help instructors during taekwondo classes.
- Safely transport children to and from scheduled field trips using company vehicles (qualified drivers only).
- Ensure the safety and well-being of campers at all times.
- Set up, organize, and clean activity areas and equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized facility.
- Communicate professionally with parents and fellow staff members.
- Follow all company policies and safety procedures.
Qualifications:
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Enjoy working with children.
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is preferred. (Required for employees assigned to drive company vehicles.)
- Must be able to pass a background check if required by law.
Outstanding team members may have the opportunity for continued employment beyond the summer season. Employees who are interested may also have the opportunity to continue working in our After School Program when the school year begins.
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
