Summary
The Arc of the Emerald Coast is seeking motivated Mobile Work Crew & Rest Area Attendants to join our team on the Walton County Litter crew. In this role, you will contribute to maintaining clean and safe environments on our state roadways, supporting our mission to serve those with disabilities effectively.
Hiring for Shift:
6am-2pm, Sunday through Tuesday and every other Wednesday
Responsibilities
- Perform roadside litter pick up in accordance with FDOT standards.
- Properly dispose of waste at approved facilities.
- Support industrial and commercial cleaning projects as needed.
- Maintain FDOT safety standards while working on state roadways.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations.
- Report maintenance issues promptly to ensure continuous equipment functionality.
- Uphold the organization’s commitment to a clean and welcoming environment for visitors and staff.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in operating a truck pulling a double-axle trailer.
- MOT certification is a plus.
- Experience operating a side by type vehicle.
- Ability to perform basic maintenance tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Prior porter or facilities maintenance experience is a plus.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- A positive attitude aligned with the organization’s mission of service.
