This Landscape Maintenance Division Manager role is responsible for driving the overall leadership, performance, profitability, and growth of the Landscape Maintenance Division. The successful candidate will be accountable for delivering exceptional landscapes while overseeing operations, scheduling, and client relationships. Responsibilities
- Lead the daily operations of the Landscape Maintenance Division, managing crews, foremen, and irrigation personnel.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for HOAs, property managers, and commercial properties to ensure contractual scopes of work are consistently fulfilled.
- Identify and sell landscape enhancement opportunities to both new and existing customers to drive division revenue growth.
- Take ownership of financial performance by monitoring labor hours, material costs, and equipment usage, while also assisting with annual budgets.
- Conduct routine quality-control inspections to ensure properties reflect high standards and promptly correct any documented deficiencies.
- Promote safe operating procedures and enforce company safety policies, including the proper use of personal protective equipment.
Requirements
- Possess 5+ years of professional landscape maintenance experience.
- Have 2+ years of supervisory, account management, or operations management experience.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of commercial maintenance practices, including turf care, irrigation, pruning, and fertilization.
- Exhibit a strong understanding of job costing, labor budgeting, and landscape maintenance profitability.
- Showcase proficiency with job-management software, with a strong preference for candidates experienced in BOSS or ASPIRE landscape software.
- Hold a valid driver’s license and maintain an acceptable driving record.
Compensation & Benefits
- $100,000 - $110,000 base salary.
- Additional commission opportunities based directly on division growth.
