We are looking for a seasoned and self-motivated AM Prep Manager.
You will be responsible for managing the Prep Team- the backbone of the operation. You will work in a scratch kitchen and ensure that all recipes and pars are strictly adhered to. Your role will be critical in ensuring the smooth running of our kitchen.
To excel in this role, you will need to be able to think on your feet, problem-solve, and communicate effectively with your team and the kitchen management team. You should have a passion for food, and a commitment to quality.
What We Need:
- Minimum 3 years of experience cooking or prepping in a professional kitchen.
- Minimum 1 year of experience managing people.
- Exceptional knife skills
- Working knowledge of food and labor costs.
- Comfortable receiving and checking vendor orders for accuracy.
- Solid knowledge of cooking & cooling methods and procedures.
- Ability to perform tasks with accuracy, speed, and attention to detail.
- Very dependable and responsible.
- High degree of emotional intelligence.
- Organized and self-motivated.
