Duties
- Implement evidence-based behavioral therapy techniques, including applied behavior analysis (ABA), to support clients with autism and other developmental disabilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as grooming, feeding, toileting, and dressing to promote independence
- Collect and record data meticulously during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform care plans
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to develop, review, and update individualized care plans tailored to each client’s needs
- Support teaching and behavior management strategies that foster positive social interactions and adaptive skills
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding medical records, documentation, and client confidentiality
- Engage in ongoing training related to medical terminology, medical documentation, and behavioral health best practices
Experience
- Prior experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Familiarity with behavioral therapy techniques such as applied behavior analysis (ABA) or special education is advantageous
- Strong communication skills and patience are essential for effective teaching and patient care
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and accurately document observations in medical records or care plans
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations ensures confidentiality and ethical handling of sensitive information
- Experience in behavior management strategies that promote positive reinforcement and adaptive behaviors is a plus

Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
