We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable professional to support affordable housing program compliance and reporting. In this role, you will help ensure regulatory requirements are met across housing portfolios, maintain accurate records, and partner with internal teams and external agencies to support successful program administration. - Monitor compliance activities related to affordable housing programs, policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Review resident files, certifications, and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare and submit reports, forms, and compliance documentation to internal stakeholders and external agencies.
- Track deadlines for recertifications, inspections, annual filings, and other required compliance actions.
- Support audits, file reviews, and monitoring visits by gathering records and responding to requests.
- Identify potential compliance concerns and escalate issues promptly with recommended follow-up actions.
- Maintain organized records and documentation in accordance with applicable record retention standards.
- Collaborate with property management, leasing, finance, and operations teams to support accurate program administration.
- Stay informed on changes to affordable housing regulations, program guidance, and agency requirements.
- Assist with training and guidance for team members on compliance procedures and documentation standards.
- Experience in affordable housing, compliance, property management, real estate administration, or a related field.
- Working knowledge of affordable housing programs and regulatory requirements preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to review complex documentation for accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and database or property management systems.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to issue resolution.
- Experience with HUD , LIHTC, USDA Rual Development, and other affordable housing programs.
- Familiarity with compliance audits, file reviews, and regulatory reporting processes.
- Relevant certifications or training in affordable housing compliance.
