TARC is a mission-driven organization dedicated to supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in building independence, workplace skills, and meaningful employment.
We are seeking compassionate and reliable Direct Support Workers / Job Coaches to provide hands-on support in real work environments across our community-based businesses.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct support and job coaching to adults with IDD
- Assist individuals in learning job tasks, routines, and workplace expectations
- Support individuals in achieving employment and independence goals
- Encourage positive social interactions and professional behavior
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive work environment
- Monitor progress and provide guidance as needed
Qualifications
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to support individuals with varying abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience in caregiving, coaching, or human services is a plus (but not required)
