Position 1: Cross-Trained Administrative Assistant: We are seeking a detail-oriented, eager, energetic, and motivated team member to support all areas of our optometry practice. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their workday, takes initiative, and is excited to learn the operational side of a growing healthcare practice. As our Manager transitions into a hybrid role, this team member will help provide support across multiple office functions while ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and an exceptional patient experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist with front desk operations, patient scheduling, and communications
- Support administrative and office management functions
- Help maintain accurate records and documentation
- Assist with inventory management and office organization
- Provide support to all departments as needed
- Learn and assist with financial and operational processes
- Cross-train across all areas of the practice to provide flexibility and coverage
- Contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn new skills and take on new responsibilities
- Previous healthcare, administrative, retail, or customer service experience is a plus but not required
Position 2: Cross-Trained Optometric Team MemberWe are also seeking an energetic, motivated, and eager team member who is excited to learn all aspects of our practice. This position will provide support across multiple departments and receive training in various office functions.
Responsibilities
- Assist with patient billing, insurance processing, and eyewear order management
- Learn and assist with optical sales and frame selection
- Assist with front desk operations and patient flow
- Support patient check-in, check-out, and scheduling
- Assist with pre-testing and clinical support duties
- Provide support wherever needed to ensure excellent patient care
- Cross-train across all departments to provide coverage and flexibility
Qualifications
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment
- Prior customer service, healthcare, retail, or optometric experience is a plus but not required
