Coglin's Wilmington the 80's and 90's bar
Coglin's is hiring! We need some friendly faces to help run security for the bar, as well as manage the floor in our fast-paced environment . Most shifts are Friday & Saturday between 7pm and 3am, although some other shifts may also be available. Qualified candidates will need to be both fast and friendly with the ability to help us build a set of regular guests. Security's job is to address problems before they start, deescalate negative situations as quickly as possible, and above all to "be nice". Cleaning is an important part of this job- bussing glassware, picking up trash, and helping close down the bar at the end of each shift is a critical part of the position. An outgoing and enthusiastic personality is a must!
Job Description:
- Monitor guests and address any problems before they start
- Pick up trash and bus glassware at all times over the course of the shift
- Keep bar clean and tidy
- Interact with customers, help them navigate the venue and answer questions
- Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations
- Comply with all COVID-19 regulations
- Computer literacy
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $20.00 per hour
