Role Summary
We are actively seeking a dedicated Teacher who holds a current CDA or higher education and is ready to make a positive impact. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing developmentally appropriate activities, maintaining a safe classroom environment, and guiding our children through their daily routines.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow TSG and lead engaging, age-appropriate activities of the lesson plan.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment that meets all licensing standards.
- Foster positive social, emotional, and cognitive development in preschool-aged children.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with parents and guardians regarding their child’s progress and daily activities.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure the daily operations of the center run smoothly.
Requirements
- Education: A High School Diploma or equivalent is the minimum requirement (starting at $14.00/hr). Higher starting pay is dependent upon documented proof of college coursework or a degree.
- Certification: A current Child Development Associate (CDA) credential is preferred.
- Availability: Must be able to work a consistent schedule of 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
- Experience: Previous experience working in a licensed childcare facility setting is highly preferred.
- Skills: Strong communication skills, patience, and a genuine love for early childhood education.
- Compliance: Must be able to pass all required state background checks and meet any additional licensing requirements.
