We're looking for a mechanically inclined, customer-focused Coffee Equipment Coordinator to help keep our commercial coffee equipment fleet running smoothly across our customer base. This is a hands-on role for someone who likes solving problems, working with tools, and building relationships — combining equipment maintenance and installation with service coordination and direct customer support.
A solid foundation in basic electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems, strong organizational instincts, and a genuine desire to take care of customers is required. We'll teach you the coffee-specific technical skills.
New coordinators go through our structured onboarding, including shadowing our senior technicians in the field, hands-on training on our major equipment lines, and vendor-provided certification where applicable. You'll have ongoing support as you build expertise — this is a role designed to grow your technical skill set over time, not one where you're expected to know it all on day one.
What You'll Do:
Equipment Maintenance & Installation
- Perform routine maintenance and preventative service on commercial coffee and beverage equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve basic electrical, mechanical, and water-related issues.
- Install, set up, and calibrate coffee equipment at customer locations.
- Assist delivery personnel with equipment installations and service-related customer support.
Vendor & Service Coordination
- Coordinate third-party service providers for advanced repairs and specialized technical work — scheduling visits, tracking follow-through, and holding vendors accountable to timelines.
- Maintain accurate service records, repair histories, and parts inventories.
- Identify recurring equipment issues and recommend solutions to improve fleet reliability.
Customer Support
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer equipment service requests.
- Schedule service visits and ensure timely resolution of equipment issues.
- Provide customers with basic operational training and troubleshooting guidance.
- Deliver clear, responsive, and friendly service in every customer interaction.
What You'll Need:
- Experience in equipment maintenance, facilities maintenance, appliance repair, mechanical service, or a related technical field.
- Working knowledge of basic electrical systems, plumbing/water connections, and mechanical troubleshooting.
- Comfort using hand tools and performing light mechanical repairs.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple service requests independently.
- Excellent communication skills and a genuine customer-service mindset.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and move equipment up to [X] lbs, occasionally with assistance.
Nice to have (not required):
- Coffee or beverage equipment experience.
- Experience managing or coordinating outside vendors/service provider
