We have an Excellent opportunity available for a Floral Receiving Associate to join our TEAM!
.
The Receiving Associate is primarily responsible for the movement and maintenance of the Perishable Product categories (cut flowers, greenery, plants); including, receiving, processing, quality control, and storage.
.
Essential Responsibilities include:
- Receive bulk freight shipments and perform the process for receipt & acceptance of goods.
- Inspect shipments for any shortage, damage, or quality issues.
- Unpack, process, and prepare products for storage.
- Transfer products to display and storage area(s).
- Oversee the layout, maintenance, and organization of the storage areas.
- Perform daily Quality Control functions to ensure the preservation and longevity of inventory.
- Assist with order fulfillment, as needed.
- Assist with warehouse maintenance and organization
- Order and maintain inventory of work supplies
- Other duties and responsibilities, as assigned.

Requirements & Skills desired:
.
- 2 Years Receiving experience. Floral knowledge/industry experience preferred
- The ability to manually lift/move up to 50lbs of weight a regular basis.
- Regular exposure to live floral products including cut flowers, greenery, and plants.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with extreme accuracy and attention to detail.
- The ability to work within ambient room temperatures including working in the storage cooler for limited periods of time (34 degrees)

Hours of Work:
.
We are open from 6AM-1PM Mon-Sat, however, the hours of work for this position will be fluctuating based upon incoming freight schedules. Early morning hours, overnight, and weekend work will be required.
