Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake a wide range of pastries, cakes, and other baked goods.
- Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency in flavor and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers and addressing their needs.
- Collaborate with team members to create new recipes and improve existing offerings.
- Utilize kitchen equipment safely, including ovens, mixers, and knives.
- Ensure proper food handling techniques are followed at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation or baking within the food industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of pastry techniques and baking methods.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
- Familiarity with food handling safety standards and practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.
- A passion for culinary arts and creativity in recipe development is highly desirable.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed & be reliable.
- Must be able to work weekends & early mornings.
- Must be able to lift 30-50lbs & use stairs.
